"Teufelshunde" or "Teufelhunden" means Devil Dogs. Legend tells us that's what the Germans called U.S. Marines in the heat of battle and it stuck. For us, it's more than a nickname. It's a reminder of where we came from, what we're made of and the standard we hold ourselves to every single day.
After years of service in the United States Marine Corps, we were looking for something that felt like purpose again. Something that required discipline, commitment and grit. Something we could build with our hands and be proud of. We found it in the land.
Homesteading isn't a trend for us, it's a calling. A way to trade one form of service for another. To grow clean food for families we know. To live intentionally, sustainably and in alignment with the earth. To prove that the same values that make a good Marine, integrity, resilience and grit, also make a good farmer.
Today, Teufelhunden Homestead is a small but growing operation nestled in Tulalip, Washington. We raise meat rabbits, chickens and quail. We tend honeybees and grow microgreens and greenhouse produce. All naturally, all without chemicals, all with the same attention to detail the Marine Corps demanded of us.
We're not a big farm. We're your neighbors. And we believe that knowing where your food comes from and who grows it, matters now more than ever.
Welcome to Teufelhunden Homestead. We're glad you found us.

Teufelhunden Homestead is a veteran-owned and operated small farm rooted in freedom, purpose and community. We raise and grow naturally, no chemicals, no shortcuts, because the families we feed deserve to know exactly where their food comes from. Built on the same values of discipline, integrity and grit that define military service, we are committed to living sustainably, growing honestly and sharing the bounty of this land with our neighbors.

To create a lasting homestead legacy rooted in service, sustainability and self-reliance. Proving that small farms, run with integrity and purpose, can make a powerful difference in the lives of the people they feed.
Service didn't end when our military contracts ended, our uniforms just changed.
No chemicals, no shortcuts, no compromises.
We are stewards of this land we tend.
A homestead doesn't exist in isolation.
Independence is something worth fighting for every single day.
From soil to table, we keep it clean.
